PCU will be responsible for the overall implementation oversight and management of these activities in close coordination with WFP and FAO. The Eastern Africa Grain Council (EAGC) will partner with KCEP-CRAL in:
- Building the capacities of farmers on post-harvest handling and management
- Carrying out sensitization/awareness campaigns in target communities on programme opportunities for developing storage/processing facilities;
- Organization and capacity building of farmers’ groups to develop and sustain business partnerships with buyers; and
- Technical capacity building for processing and value addition.
